Khukha Youth Welfare Trust
The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: 'Sadaqah (charity) does not decrease wealth.' (Muslim).
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah’s Messenger (SAW) as saying: “Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).” (Muslim)

There are about 40 members of this trust since its establishment in early 2013. Alhumd-u-Lillah, the numbers are growing fast. Each member contributes a minimum of £3 every month. There are charity boxes throughout the shops of Khukha. We do regularly receive generous donations in Khukha as well. Some members pay more than this amount whereas some donors are kind enough to donate a one off amount.

Boxes to collect Holly Islamic Pages and cuttings

Khukha Youth Welfare team have made an attempt to fix Metal Boxes throughout the streets of village to collect Holly pages and cuttings. These boxes are only for such material but not for any other litter or wrapers etc. There are 16 boxes in village streets. Each box is emptied once every week. All material is washed off any dirt and than disposed off in the Old Main mosque WELL. This is arranged and authorised by Qari Yousaf Sialvi. Speacial thanks to Master Shakoor Ahmed who took on responsility to make these boxes free of charge. He has very kindly agreed to lookafter these boxes for any breakage or replacements.

We need another 16 boxes to cover main village streets. We would like to ask for your help since there is an ongoing monthly cost to clean and maintain these boxes. We spent about Rs. 10,000 to make and install 16 boxes and ongoing monthly cost is Rs. 1500. Again, we would like to make a request if someone wouldlike to sponsor the cost and/or ongoing monthly cost. Thank you for your co-operation and generosity in advance.

Poster removal from Mosque & Village Walls

Khukha Youth Welfare team decided, with the consultation and permission of Qari Muhammad Yousaf Sialvi, to remove all Wall Posters. Not only it made a mess on walls, it is also disrespectful to Qurani Aayas written on these posters. Qari Yousaf has made a request not to fly post anymore regardless of nature of posters. We would also like to take this opurtunity to request everyone to refrain from fly posting in our village.
Although we had volunteers to spend about 5 days, it cost us Rs. 2000. We could spend this money on a much better cause in future.

Muhammad Ansar - Care and Hafiz -e- Quran visit

As we mentioned previously, we have managed to get a regular care visit for brother Muhammad Ansar. His brother will be paid for a 'twice a week care' for him. This will involve; helping him with bath and cleaning mainly. He will be taken to Jaamia Masjid for Juma (Friday) prayers every Friday. Just to remind our site visitors that taking brother Ansar from home to Mosque requires a difficult and a very careful effort. Uneven streets, overflowing and broken drains and animal dung are all but hurdles when pushing a wheel chair through streets.

Furthermore, we have arranged for a Hafiz-e-Quran to visit him twice a week. This to help him learn and enhance his Quran Naazira and knowledge of Islam.

We would like to take this opportunity to request everyone to help and support in this cause as much as possible.

Like we mentioned previously, he rents a video camera from Dina to make mainly wedding but movies for all other occasions. This hasn't been very profitable for him. We have managed to get a successful treatment for Abdul Gaffar son of Muhammad Khaliq, mohallah pashoria. Being in his mid thirties and father of 3 young children, he was unable to work due to an illness which affected his mobility. He was unable to socialise either. However, with your donations, we spent Rs 49,000 (£300) on his treatment. He was mainly treated at CMH Mangla and Kharian. He has fully recovered now and is back to work.
We will be soon taking him for his follow up appointments back to Hospital again.
