As it is stated before that an Umra ticket was given by Haji Farooq Ellahi for the Sawaab for his Late Father Karam Ellahi. Mohammad Shokat son of Late Baba Saee was the original winner when the draw took place at the end of Mehfele Naat. Since the person has to be present in Mehfel at the time of draw, unfortunately, Shokat was not present in the Mehfel, which meant a redraw. Wajid Hussain Mughal, from Dhok Shamsa Baad, was the winner 2nd time and claimed his ticket. Mubarak and good luck to him.

The 7th Annual Mehfle Naat was held in Jamia Mosque Khukha Sharif on the eve of 17th of june 2009. The mehfel was supervised by Qari Mohammad Yousaf Sialvi. The Naat Khwaans and well respected speakers were invited from all over the country. Mehfel started with Tilavat (Ricitation) by Qari Ismail Siddiqi, a pupil of Qari Mohammad Yousuf sialvi. Many well known Naat Khwaans recited Naats and Qari Mohammad Yousuf sialvi, Qari Sohail Ahmed and Molana Ghulam Rubbani Taimour, all made a speech. The stage secretary was Waqar Ali Qadri, a pupil of Molana Tahir-ulQadri, Lahore. The mehfel ended just before Fajar time.

Khan Zaman (Khani) paid for the lighting expenses for the Sawaab for his late mother.

Haji Farooq Ellahi gave an Umra Ticket for the Sawaab for his Late father Karam Ellahi, Mohallah Pashoria.

10 copies of Holy Quran and 5 ceiling fans were also given to lucky winners, by a draw.

Just to remind our visitors that this Mehfel is organised mainly by the efforst of youngsters and is fully funded by the residents of Khukha.

After 5 weeks it rained for approx. 35 mins last night in our region.

It has been a very hot summer this year as it started late than it usually does. The temperature rose so high yesterday that builders had to stop all building work. However, it has rained for about 10 minutes last night which brought fresh and cool air which helped lower the temperature. Light wind is blowing this morning and it is expected that it will be pleasant wheather for next few days, at least.

It has heavely rained in and around Khukha yesterday after about three weeks. Since the summer has started and it had gone very warm, rain has been welcomed as it brought fresh and cold weather. It has been raining throughout the spring this year so this rain is an added bonus for farmers' cattle as it will help further fresh grass and increase water levels in wells as well.

Since many Banks in Pakistan now offer Cash Cards and Credit Cards, to use this facility is now available in Dina. Some Shops accept Credit Cards. The 24 ATM, the Cash Machine facility is also available in Dina. However, it is unclear what a transaction will cost its user.

MOHAMMED YAQOOB, BOLTON

Building work at Darbar Mosque has restarted last week. The Daras Sharif is complete but the mosque's work had stopped for many years and it has finally restarted. Although the amount of fund for Main Jamia Mosque is Rs. 542,000, the amount of fund for Darbar Mosque is only Rs. 1100; announced at Juma Prayers by Qari Mohammad Yousaf Sialvi. Everyone is requested to contribute as much as possible as most of Khukha Mosques are built by the help and support of Khukha residents.

The quarterley fund for Khukha Mosques and Qabaristan has been recieved. A total sum of £740 has been sent for Khukha Jamia Mosque, Darbar Mosque, Qabaristan, Janazah Gah and mainly for Daras. This fund is collected and sent over to Pakistan by Haji Zamir Ahmed son of Late Haji Nazir Ahmed from Bolton, UK. This collection of fund was initially set up by Late Hahi Nazir Ahmed in 1975 and has been successfully manged and run since 1975.

This amount is a monthly contibution of £3 per person and there are many members who are originally from Khukha but residing in UK now. Beside the monthly amount of £3 per person, individuals has made further contribution on top of it. The amount of fund for Jamia Mosque is announced to be Rs. 542,000.

Wheat crop season has begun since Friday the 3rd of April but it has been raining since yesterday evening; its very lightly raining though. Its worst possible time to have rain and every farmer is praying not to have any further rain untill the crop season is over. It normally takes about 3 weeks before the season is over. However, the rain has brought a fresh, cool and pleasant weather.

Khukha Football club another challenge match against Saagri Football club at Saagri home ground. It was a nail biting match but Khukha managed to win it by 2 goals to 0. Khukha played really good football again and dominated the play most of the time. Both sides missed a penalty each. Well done to Khukha football Club.

Khukha youngsters actively take part in many different types of Sports. As the Cricket season is off till September, most youngsters are playing football these days. However, there are still some youngsters who practice and play regular cricket matches. The matches are seven or nine a side and played with tape ball rather than traditional leather ball.

Football Team played a friendly match against Saagri which is about 2 Miles from Dina. Match was played at Saagri Football Ground. Khukha team dominated the play most of the time and scored the first Goal within the first 15 minutes, scored by Mohsin, a header from a corner. Saagri team made some decent attempts but Mudassar made brilliant saves. Shoaib Asghar scored the second goal while the third one was scored by Kashif with a good header off a long ball by Zubair. Mubashar scored a brilliant goal, a volley from the edge of box; the best goal of the match. Zubair played fantastically well and displayed brilliant football skills and dominated the midfield.
Overall Khukha team played really well and won the match 4-0. I (Sarfraz Aslam) was part of Khukha team and I am really proud and pleased with team’s performance. They kept a 4-2-4 format throughout the game and every player worked really hard. I was amazed by the display of skills of Zubair, Mubashar, Mohsin and Naeem Arshad. A very big well done to all the players.

Irfan Anayat (Zafran Anayat) son of late Mohammad Anayat got married on 30/3/2009. Baraat went to Gaggar Kalan. Congratulation to all the family and all the best wishes for newly wed couple.
