The idea of the KHUKHA WELFARE FUND was presented by a group of people living in UK originally from khukha who wish to contribute their support for the needy and poor whenever they needed. This idea has been discussed for a while now as how to run, how to arrange the collection of funds and who by, what criteria to be set to qualify to receive help and how the money to be handed over to qualified individual?
Some of us had the opportunity to visit our family and friends in Khukha last year and recently. We found out that a group of people pledged their support to run this association in Khukha. After a initial few meetings were held, where all the ideas were discussed, two individuals were elected, MR TARIQ Mehmood S/O ADALAT KHAN, Mohalla PESHORIA) and Ch SAEED NAWAZ to be mainly responsible for running this association which is to be a NON POLITICAL association.
We are glad to announce that the first practical step has been taken by the association by providing the funds to arrange for an EYE OPERATION for MUHAMMAD ASHRAF, mohalla PESHORIA and Alhamd-u-Lillah, the operation was a success and wish to take more practical steps toward running this association on a long term regular and permanent basis.
May we take this opportunity to make a very biq request to whole Khukha community, wherever they are settled, to participate and contribute generously as they have always been.
We would like to invite everyone to take part in supporting and suggesting new ideas to make this association a success.

It brought a fresh and pleasant weather as winter season broke. Good for Farmers as they heavily rely on regular rainfall to bring life and speedy growth to crops as well as jungle Grass. Naeem Arshad S/O Haji Mohammad Arshad is a talented badminton player.He achieved 3rd position in ALL PUNJAB Badminton tournament held in Lahore.He started playing badminton with his friends in khukha and then went on to represent his college,with no indoor badminton experience he was still good enough to beat the top PUNJAB players in the singles and doules also.He represented his institute which Technical Institue RAWAAT.
He has already all the top players of Jhelum in singles.
He was awarded with a trophy and a cash prize of RS 5000 from Punjab Provincial sports minister in the tournament held in Lahore.

Ch.Mazhar Iqbal leader of PML (N) started develpoing Dungiya farm near Khukha about 14 years ago. Slowly the land was levelled by bulldozer as the land was comprising of small hills. A Tube well Was dug 10 years ago. All the water irrigation sytem was put underground.
The real dairy development started in May 2009. The project was developed with the help of Pakistans dairy development company. The aim was to use new techniques of modern dairy.

Unfortunately there is no electric supply at the farm. All the lighting at the farm is produced by Tokka and the milking machines are run by the generators. There is a lot of interest from the local people who are visiting the farm to see the modern equipment used.

By the Grace of Allah (Almighty and Glorious is He) and the blessings of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), hundreds of men and youth, gathered together in Jamia Mosque Khukha, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (may Allah be well pleased with him and his father). The date was the 10th Muhurrum, the Day of Ashura on Sunday the 27th of December 2009.

It was presided by Qari Muhammad Yousaf Sialvi and organised by the efforts of Khukha Minhaaj-ul-Quraan. It started immediatly after Isha prayers and Molana Ghulam Rubbani, special guest, a student of Molana Tahi-ul-Qadri, made a special speech.

Since there are two Daras sharif in Khukha where hundreds of Huffaaz learn Quraan by heart. An official ceremony, called Dastaar Bandi, is held at the end of each Islamic year for those who learn and pass the test to be confirmed as the Haafiz-e-Quraan by Qari Muhammad Yousaf Sialvi. Fourteen (14) students from Khukha Daras recieved Dastaar, officially recognised as Haafiz-e-Quraan. By the grace of Allah, two of them were from Khukha village.

Eid ul-Fitr Mubarak ,Celebrating the end of Ramadan

Almost two billion Muslims around the world celebrate Eid ul-Fitr (eed al-fitter), the three-day festival commonly known as "Eid." "Eid ul-Fitr" literally means "the feast of the breaking/to break the fast." The holiday marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting and is a culmination of the month-long struggle towards a higher spiritual state.

Lailat ul Qadr (The Night of Power / Decree / Destiny)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

“In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.”

إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِوَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ

تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍسَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ

“We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power: And what will explain to thee what the night of power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah’s permission, on every errand: Peace!…This until the rise of morn!” (Surah Qadr 97:1-5)

Rasulullah (SAW) said: “Seek Lailat ul Qadr in the odd-numbered nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan.”

What is Lailat ul Qadr? Lail means “night” “Qadr” is a Proper Noun, so Lailat ul Qadr is Night of Qadr. Qur’an tells us “Lailat ul Qadr is better than a thousand months.” Better than 1000 months. Better than 30,000 days? Better than 83 years? Notice the word “better” It is better than 83 years, not equivalent. How much better, only Allah knows.

What makes Lailat ul Qadr so special? Allah says:

شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَنْ شَهِدَ مِنْكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَنْ كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

“Ramadhaan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur’an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful..” (Surah Al Baqarah 2:185)

In Lailat ul Qadr, the Almighty Creator Allah revealed His final message Qur’an, to the Best of all Creations Rasulullah (SAW), for the Best Ummah’s, and the Message was revealed in the Best Month Ramadan, in the Best nights of all nights Lailat ul Qadr. Think about this comparison, in Lailat ul Qadr when everything is at its best, the Divine Mercy of Rabbil A’lameen is also at its best, and in all honesty it is this very perfection and eagerness of Divine Mercy which makes this night better than 3 thousand nights.

The sincere believer who worries day and night about his sins awaits patiently Lailat ul Qadr. During it he hopes to be forgiven by Allah for his past sins, because the Prophet promised that whoever stood in prayer on the night of Al-Qadr, in faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, he will have all of his previous sins forgiven. To achieve this, the believer remembers Rasulullah (SAW) advice in different sayings wherein he used words like “seek”, “pursue”, “search” and “look hard” for Lailat ul Qadr.

There is a difference of opinion as to when actually the Lailat ul Qadr occurs. But there is no doubt that it is one of the odd numbered nights in the last 10 days of Ramadan. It is best to do Ibaadat in all the nights to strive hard and to be sincere in worship. Spend more time in worship during the nights on which Lailat ul Qadr is likely to fall. This calls for abandoning many worldly pleasures in order to secure the time and thoughts solely for worshipping Allah. Ayesha (RA) reported: “When the last ten nights started, Rasulullah (SAW) would tighten his izhaar (i.e. he stayed away from his wives in order to have more time for worship), spend the whole night awake (in prayer), and wake up his family” (Bukhari, Muslim).
Ayesha (RA) said: “Allah’s Messenger (SAW) used to exert more (in worship) on the last ten than on other nights” (Muslim).

Some of the signs by which Lailat ul Qadr is known is that on the following morning the sun rises red and weak with no visible rays. Lailat ul Qadr is a pleasant night, neither hot nor cold. Another hadith states that, “Lailat ul Qadr is a bright night, neither hot nor cold, in which no meteors are seen.” Lailat ul Qadr is the most blessed night. Peace descends in Lailat ul Qadr until dawn. It may be that you may leave the Masjid after Fajr one day without realizing that you have been forgiven by Allah the Most Merciful. A person who misses it has indeed missed a great amount of good. A believer should search for it by spending the nights in worship and obedience. For those who catch the opportunity, their gift is that their past sins are wiped away.

The Dua For the Night of Qadr (Power)

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

“O Allah, you are the Most Forgiving, and One who loves forgiving, therefore forgive me”. (Tirmidhi)

“Who knows if this will be our LAST Ramadhaan? Angel of death does not call before it comes to us. If this Ramadan does not bring us closer or makes us aware of Allah…then it is as if we finished the count of days and did not fulfill the purpose of Ramadhaan.”

“Ya Ar Hamar Rahimeen, Ya Ar Hamar Rahimeen , Ya Ar Hamar Rahimeen , O’Allah give us the ability to benefit from the Sacred and Blessed month, change for the better to please you, and to improve our character. O’Allah accept our Ibadah, our duas and accept the Ummah in your shade of Mercy and forgiveness, forgive us for transgressing the rights You have over us, give us the ability to fulfill them, forgive us Allah for we are sinful, and You are our Lord, Master, The Most Merciful and Forgiving. Forgive this sinful soul who pleads to You, O’ my Allah accept this broken sincere dua. Aameen Thuma Ameen”

NIGHT OF BARÃT

Allah Ta’ãla has presented His bondsmen with some special occasions with the golden opportunity of earning the mercy and forgiveness of Allah. Explicit examples of these occasions are the month of Ramadhãn and Laylatul Qadr. So is the fifteenth of Shabãn. Several Ahãdith extol the merits of this occasion. Amongst them is the fact that countless people are forgiven by Allah Ta’ãla during this blessed night. It is due to this reason that it is called ‘The Night of Barãt’.

However, it should be borne in mind that a vast majority of narration's describing the benefits and virtues of this night are in fact quite weak.

The foundations of the Shar’iah are the Qur’ãn, the Sunnah and the lives of the Sahãbah (R.A.). Non of the narration’s regarding the excellences of this night are free from criticism and comment by the scholars of Hadith.

Shaikh Yusuf Binouri (R) says: “I have not come across any Sahih, Marfoo or Musnad Hadith regarding the excellence of this night.” [Ma’ãrifus Sunnan, Vol. 5 Pg. 419].

The Muhaddith, Ibn Dihya, has also agreed that neither has anything authentic been narrated regarding the fifteenth night of Shabãn nor has any specific Salãh been narrated for this night via reliable narrators. [Faydhul-Qadeer-Sharhul Jãmius Sagheer Vol. 2 Pg. 317].

SOME VIRTUES OF THIS NIGHT:

One on the other hand can not completely reject the virtues of this night. Whilst even Allama Ibn Taymiyyah, a scholar notorious for refuting such things, also accepts the virtue of the night of Barãt, he says: “So many Ahãdith and reports exists regarding the excellence of the fifteenth night of Shabãn that one is compelled to accept that this night possesses some virtue.”

Shaikh Abdur Rahman Mubarakpuri writes in the commentary of Tirmizi: “The sheer number of Ahãdith regarding this night serve as a proof against those who refute the excellence of this night.” [Tuhfatul-Ahwazi Vol. 2 Pg. 53].

The special virtues of the night of Barãt are:

1. Contrary to other nights wherein Allah descends to the lowest Heaven to bestow His special blessings during the last third of the night, on the night of Barãt the special rain of mercy and forgiveness from Allah Ta’ãla begins to shower down right up till dawn.

It should be remembered that while the narrations regarding the night of Barãt are weak, the narrations regarding Allah Ta’ãla’s descending to the nearest Heaven during the last third of every night are totally correct.
