hum kahan ja re hain...khukha mai ye dusree dafa hua hai k darbar wali masjid main jamaat ho ri hai aur baahir poore zor se dhol baj ra hai...
pehli dafa aj se 2 maheene pehle jab darbar k sath wali zmeen man ghorha dance ho ra tha..log masjid main maghrib ki namaz parh re thay aur bahir zor o shor se dhol baj re thay .
aur dusree dafa aj se 3 din pehle bagooder ka mela tha to bee yehee kuch ho ra tha..ander namaz aur bahir dhol..na kisi ne dhol band kia aur na karwaya...ap k coments ?

The khukha Sports day 2012 was again held in Bolton this year.

Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us as compared to the 2011 event.
In spite of the weather there was still an extremely healthy turnout from every corner of UK with ages ranging from 7 to over 70 years...

As the rain made it impossible for the south cricket team to have any chance to avenge the defeat they suffered last year. Hard luck south Cricket team, better luck next year.. So No Cricket but there was football…

Rizvaan arranged six, 5 a side football teams.
Each team having the opportunity to play each other as in a mini league format.

Top 2 teams played the final.....

This gathering again proved to be a very enjoyable and provided an open opportunity for kukhudians to socialise with lots of chup shap. Thanks to all the organisers..

There were some speeches at the end as well as a Punjabi naat by Haji CH. Arshad of Bolton.

And of course there was a very delicious food at the End.

As some of u may know on Monday 27th August we have a gathering for Khukha family an friends. Cricket is always the main agenda, this year they have offered to allow Football to take part.
London will bring a side but I need to see if we can get a side an even so as many players as ALL will get to play.
We cud even turn it in to a 5 a side tournament (mini world cup) pls all try to make an effort and attend it and the address is Sunnyside Park

The khukha World cup will be kickin off at 12.30 pm prompt!!!
I need a minimum of 6 teams, 5 players per team.
This will only work if we all attend. Football / Cricket / Friends / family / Food / but all round good day weather permitting pls all attend.
The football will only work if enough players turn up. Ideas for the football wud be great but as long as we all turn UP, in future we need football to be part of this gathering !!!!!
